Charlotte Weintraub, 95, of St. Petersburg, passed away February 12, 2017.

Charlotte was born in Long Branch, NJ . Charlotte typed war bonds in Hawaii following Pearl Harbor. She worked as a cosmologist in her young adult years. While at Toby Weinman she was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Rummiku with her friends but by far her passion was shopping!

Charlotte is survived by her loving family; daughters, Judith Ciurczak and Gail (Carl) Rubinsky; grandchildren Joshua (Emily) Rubinsky, Ariel (Brian)Collins, Alyssa (Nathan) Hayes, Alex (Ann) Ciurczak and great grandchildren Charlie, Kyle, Ethan, Levi, Talia and Noah. She was predeceased by her husbands, Horace Grosshandler and Sydney Weintraub; and grandson, Adam Ciurczak.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 15 at the David C. Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg. Interment will follow on Thursday, Feburary 16, 2 PM at Beth-El Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.

Friends will be received between the hours of 1-7 PM on Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19, at the home of Gail & Carl Rubinsky, 1329 Coral Way S., St. Petersburg. Shiva minyanim will begin each night at 7 PM. A Shiva minyan will also be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, February 20 at the Toby Weinman Assisted Living Residence, 240 59th St. N., St. Petersburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Charlotte's memory to Jewish Helping Hands (jewishhelpinghands.org).
