Frank Richard “Dick” Spinner, 84, of Treasure Island, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2018. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Vi Spinner; sister, Kathy Troy; two children, Jim Spinner (Shannah) and Rick Spinner; and two grandchildren, Cameron and Caiden Spinner.
Dick was born October 29, 1933 to Frank and Hermine DeVeuve. He served in the Korean War as a Navy Seabee. After spending many years devoted to his work career, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of retiring and moving to Treasure Island, Florida. Treasure Island was his passion and he enjoyed continuing to work as manager of Gulf Golf and as a maintenance person for two local hotels, as well as the condos where they reside. Dick also served on the board of his condo association. Dick enjoyed life, had a strong love for his wife Vi, loved hanging out with close friends, loved the pets they had throughout the years, loved his beer, loved to share his opinions … and always knew what the weather was around the nation of his family members!
David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
