March 7, 1960 - December 3, 2018
It is with completely broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife and mother, Kimberly Rawson Geldbart, on December the 3rd, 2018. Kimmie, 58, of Pinellas Park, Florida, suffered a long-fought battle with rheumatoid arthritis and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Kimmie was predeceased by her father, E. Kent Rawson; brother, Randall Rawson; and niece, Camille Rawson; all of whom she treasured dearly. She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, David Geldbart; and cherished children, Rebekka (Adam), Brandon and Jackson; mother and stepfather, Sandra and Dan Kane; stepmother, Siri Rawson; brother Jeffrey Rawson (Joan), sister-in-law; Vivian Rawson; and precious golden doodles Chloe and Ella. In life, Kimmie was lucky to be surrounded by a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and long-time friends whom she equally adored.
Kimmie was born in Scranton, PA on March 7, 1960 and later relocated to Dunedin, Florida with her family. She graduated from Dunedin High School and soon after went to work for her father at Enviro-Tec. She was known and loved for her ability to make all feel welcome. Kimmie was the most devoted wife and mother to her family - present at every school party, rehearsal and football game. Kimmie was creative and active, often taking care of more children than her own as she was happiest surrounded by her tribe of nieces and nephews. Kimmie adored her family and was truly the light that guided all our lives. Although we are shocked and devastated by her loss, we celebrate the bright legacy and warm memories that she has left behind. We find solace in knowing that she is now out of pain, but we will forever have a void in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Kimmie's honor this Tuesday, December 11th at 6pm at Belleair Country Club for friends and family who wish to pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kimberly's honor to the Arthritis National Research Foundation at https://www.curearthritis.org/.
David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel in St. Petersburg is serving the family.
