She met and married her husband Zdravko Prokic in 1962. Leposava and Zdravko raised 3 children and lived in Paterson, NJ; Clifton, NJ; and Oak Ridge, NJ prior to relocating to St. Petersburg, FL in 1979.  Leposava was a fun, loving mother who was very friendly with everyone she met.  She loved going to the Wagonwheel flea market where she had a produce stand for several years, the dog track, and the beach.  She also enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her family. In her last several years, she frequented several McDonald’s restaurants in the St. Petersburg area and would meet many people while she enjoyed a cup of coffee.

Leposava is survived by her brother, Savo (Mila) Blagojevic of East Brunswick, New Jersey; her children, Susan (Daniel) Morris of Damascus, Oregon; Roger (Julia) Prokic of Eldersburg, Maryland; Brooke (Mark) Mapp of Talladega, Alabama; her grandchildren William Morris, Victoria Prokic, Kayla Morris, Alexander Prokic, and Nicholas Prokic, her niece Darinka (Nick) Komar, Sue (Nick) Kollias, Vesna Blagojevic, and nephew Dragan (Maria) Tubonjic. She is preceded in death by her husband Zdravko Prokic, sister Jelena (Novak) Tubonjic, brothers Vid (Milica) Blagojevic, Milan Blagojevic, and nephew Dusko Tubonjic.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church (530 77th Avenue N., St. Petersburg, FL 33702) where she was a member for many years, or to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) to help support research of Alzheimer’s disease.

The family wishes to extend their love and gratitude to Christa Radulovich, who served as the professional guardian for Leposava in the final year of her life.
