Pamela S. BarronJanuary 25, 1955 ~ October 10, 2017 (age 62)
Pamela S. Barron, 62, of New Port Richey, Florida formerly of Brockton, MA. Entered into rest on October 10, 2017, comfortably in her home after fighting a twelve year battle with breast cancer. Dear daughter of Dr. Sidney E. Barron and the late Carol Anne (Schnitzer) Barron. Loving sister of Sheri (Barron) Canter, Robert Barron and his wife Carol, David Barron and Nancy (Barron) Streicher and her husband Ron. Loving aunt of five nieces, five nephews, two grandnephews and one grandniece. She is also survived by her beloved cats, Emily and Tara. Pam was a self-made professional who was self-employed for most of her life in the human resource field. She was a published author of the informational and motivational book, Breast Cancer: The Sun Will Rise. She was invited to speak at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, where she offered encouragement to breast cancer patients and they each received a copy of her book. Her illness, which eventually took her life, became a platform from which she encouraged and mentored others afflicted with the same disease. She was an energetic spirit who loved the beach and spending time with friends and family. Traveling was one of her favorite things to do in life; she was always planning her next trip to the Caribbean, north to New England which she always called "home," or to one of many lovely destinations for a weekend. She was an energetic spirit who was looked up to and adored by many; family, friends and acquaintances alike
. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 11:45 AM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA.
